PROBLEM : IEEE, the worlds largest association of technical Professionals conducts events for various interest groups across the globe. They had the challenge of having to create multiple websites for an event and promote them independently to those specific interest groups. Also the challenge of collecting payments upon registration.
SOLUTION: Viamagus proposed a Mobile App as a Proof of concept to list all events organized by chapter and region. User has the choice to choose his chapter/Interest group and view event information and book tickets. Now the event registration and ticketing are handled at a central location from a designated team making it easier for event organizers to conduct the core functions of the event. They have recently signed up to expand this to 32 countries including plugging in Viamagus Mobile Apps.
